I have found so many good recipes on Pinterest that I am starting to want to cook more and try all these recipes. I am going to start posting our weekly meal plan here with links to the dinners we are going to be trying. I am not going to guarantee that I am the one cooking all of them, but I will be cooking a few times a week. If nothing else, it will make it easy for my husband to find the recipe for whats on the menu instead of trying to ask me while I am working! Please click on the links to check out the recipes!
Thursday 9/20~ Homemade Chicken Nuggets and No-Fry Fries
Friday 9/21~ Hawaiian Sweet Roll Ham Sandwhiches
Saturday 9/22~ Breakfast (No recipe, just making French Toast, Bacon, Eggs....for Dinner!)
Sunday 9/23~ Chicken Stuffed Shells
Monday 9/24~ Turkey Patties
Tuesday 9/25~ Ranch Pork Chops
Wednesday 9/26~ Chicken Roll Ups
Here are some of the recipes that we made last week (before I started the blog) and what we thought of each one.
Meatball Sanwhiches~ These were amazing! I am not a huge meatball fan, but this was so good that I actually took leftovers for lunch the next day which I used to never do! We just used freezer meatballs and they still turned out really good!
Chicken Alfredo Roll Ups~ These were awesome as well. My husband made them and made it like normal lasagna instead of doing the individual roll ups. I think it would taste the same either way!
Chicken Crescent Roll Casserole~ Again, very good! How can anything with crescent, chicken, and cheese not be good though!
Skinny Dorito Taco Bake~ This was overall good, but it didn't turn out the best. The skinny version of this recipe called for a half pound of meat so that made a little bit of a difference. I didn't know what Rotel was and didn't have time to find out so I just left it out which made it a bit dry. My husband doesn't like greek yogurt (a substitute for the sour cream) so that and the fact that it was a little overcooked because of the lack of ingredients overall made the dish too dry. We will for sure try the recipe again adding the Rotel (tomato sauce) and maybe cooking it 25 min instead of the 30 min that it says to.
